Teaching
If you'd like to take classes with me the cost is $50 per class or you can prepay 4 classes for $175. Each class is 3 hours long and I will do demos and help you with your own work. Contact me if you are interested and we can schedule a day and time that suits you. I teach drawing and painting in oils and you can choose whichever medium you would like to work in. Bring whatever materials you have and are comfortable with and we can discuss what further materials you might need.
Classes are held either at my home studio:

-Turn on the 7th Ave side of the building and drive around the back and into a gated entrance and park in front of the three red loading docks and the entrance to the studio is to the right of them. There is a sign on the door.
Commissions
If you are interested in commissioning a painting, please email me for details. Below is a general pricing schedule but the final price depends on many variables such as size, backgrounds, extra figures etc. so I price each painting individually.
Drawings
Sketch $ 750
Head/Shoulders $1000
Head/Hands $1750
Full Length $2250
Paintings
Sketch $1500
Head/Shoulders $2500
Head/Hands $4500
Full Length $6500
Detailed Backgrounds are + 50%
Large Paintings (over 36” in either dimension) are + 50%
*Price does not include shipping or framing. I will do both at cost.
Procedure
I work from life and the best portraits come from direct observation. For drawings this usually takes 3-5 sittings of 2-3 hours. For paintings it could take up to 10 sittings of 2-3 hours. Typically 50% of total cost is due up front and 50% upon completion, but for longer projects payments can be discussed.
